Curing Sunburns The Easy Way

Once in awhile it’s normal that we experience the effects of the sunburn. I know, I know, it hurts!

The sting of the sun burn may remind us how stupid we have been to expose our precious skins to the harm UV rays without any protection. This may also be a good disciplinary effect on you so that you may plan your future occasions accordingly.

If you have however spent too much time under the sun here are some easy yet natural remedies to help you ease the pain of the sun burn.

1. Cold Milk Compress – It has been proven over the years that the lactic and fatty acids within the molecules of the milk have some soothing effects for sunburned skins. What you do is soak a piece of cloth or some cotton gauze in some milk and dab the said cloth to the sun burned skin parts. This shall be done for some 20 minutes then rinse it off with some cool water. Whole milk is essential because of the fatty contents.

2. Sugarless Tea – The tannin content in the tea has effects that help sooth or relieve discomforts in sunburned skins. The procedure goes like this: brew a big pot of tea; allow it to completely cool; put some vinegar; put all these substances inside a spray and spray around the partitions of your sunburned skin. The used tea bags may also be dabbed in delicate parts of the skin such as the skin of the eyes.

3. Aloe Vera – The usual treatment to sunburns are medications that have Aloe Vera inside it. Aloe Vera has been proven to provide relief and it always helps with the sunburn healing process. All you need if the extracted gel from the real Aloe Vera plant. If you do not have access to one you may buy over the counter Aloe Vera cream. So that this procedure will be effective you must make sure that the cream contains the highest percentage of Aloe Vera rather than other compounds.

4. Water – Water, the easiest thing to use among all the process mentioned above. As you know when you get exposed to the sun tons and tons of water from the body is lost. Dehydrations occur when too much fluid is lost inside your body. Rehydrating is also proven to help you blood cells to carry proteins to your skin faster which makes the sun burn easier to heal.

We should always remember that prevention is better than cure. We should always bring sun block or sun screen lotions wherever we go especially if you know that you are going to be exposed under the sunlight for a long period of time. Sun block is always essential to bring if it’s the summer season and if you are going swimming. These tips are only home remedies please do not replace your doctors with these tips.
